I took part in the «Temporary One Hour Urban Communication Plateau», organized by the British High School of Design. The event was held on August 8, 2025 at Artplay Design Center. We have been given six graphic forms and strict conditions on the vorkshop: to work only in Adobe Illustrator, to use the school’s brand typeface, and to avoid handwritten elements. These limitations have created additional challenges and made the task even more exciting. I got a text about an INEY light show. Given the space where the poster would hang, I noticed that it was pestritic in different colors, and there was little black. So I decided that a black and white palette would be a great solution to highlight my poster against a bright shade.
In my poster, I used a metaphor of light and sound to create a bright and memorable visual message. Light is not only a physical phenomenon, but also a symbol of inspiration, energy, and life. It is capable of awakening emotions and creating an atmosphere, while sound fills space with momentum and movement, making each moment unique. Light and sound are intertwined like two companions, creating harmony and interaction. I have sought to convey this unity in my design, using bright accents and clear lines that are reminiscent of the bursts of light and melody in the air. My poster was a reflection of this synergetic interaction, where every element works for a common perception, creating a sense of the magic of an INEY light show.
