

Letters from Alexander Rodchenko addressed to his wife, Varvara Stepanova, in 1925, while travelling abroad to Paris, describing the impressions of Western culture, work, life, fashion, and people.

The book is illustrated by photographs of the streets, the interiors of the various institutions of Paris, its inhabitants, transport, shop windows (photos by Eugene Atge, Brassai, and other photographers of the early 20th century), photos used on the cover were taken by Rodchenko himself in 1925.
